Embarking on the journey of parenthood is a truly exciting time, filled with anticipation and joy, but it can also bring along mixed emotions, especially for first-time parents. To ensure a smooth transition into this new phase, we have curated the Pravan Kids Neonatal Program as an add-on to our existing Pravan Kids membership. This comprehensive program aims to provide you and your newborn with expert care and guidance from the start, all in a comfortable and supportive environment.
Here’s what the Neonatal Program includes:
- Comprehensive Meet & Greet Session (Prenatal Appointment): An opportunity to learn about your pediatrician’s credentials, experiences, and vision, establish health goals for your baby, and discuss any concerns or questions you may have.
- At-Home Initial Visit with Pediatrician: Our lead pediatrician, Dr. Mejía, will visit you at home to review the baby’s discharge summary, perform a thorough evaluation, and record your baby’s weight and height. She'll also provide a personalized anticipatory guide and infant feeding basics. This is a two-hour appointment all carried out in the comfort of your home, ensuring a calm and secure environment for you and your newborn. At present, our at-home visits are available in Puerto Rico's metropolitan areas, Dorado, Palmas del Mar in Humacao, and Rio Grande.
- Infant Feeding Consultation: An hour-and-a-half telemedicine consultation with an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant, designed to provide a customized plan for your family’s feeding needs and goals, with topics covering latch and positioning, baby’s weight checks, breast pump tutorial, bottle feeding, and newborn care tips.
The Neonatal Program is created to support you during the critical initial days and weeks, guiding you through your baby's first 24 to 48 hours of life, the first week at home, understanding hospital screenings, and making important decisions like immunizations.
Pricing and Packages
We understand that every family's needs and circumstances are unique. For those who opt for our comprehensive Neonatal Program package, applicable fees are described below:
- Neonatal Package for Pravan Kids' Members: $850
For families who may only need specific services, we provide individual pricing:
- Comprehensive Meet & Greet Session (Prenatal Appointment):
- $250 (members & non-members)
- First Visit at Home with Pediatrician:
- $700 (only available to Pravan Kids' members)
- Infant Feeding Consultation:
- At-Home Visit: $165 (for both, members and non-members). Available to the following locations: Puerto Rico's metropolitan areas, Dorado, Palmas del Mar in Humacao, and Rio Grande.
- Via Telemedicine: $100 for both members and non-members.
We highly recommend considering our bundled packages for a comprehensive care experience, which offers a cost-effective option. However, we are committed to providing flexibility so that you can choose what works best for your family.
